MAN PRESUMED DEAD IN RAIN-SWOLLEN CREEK

The man who jumped into a rain-swollen Campbell creek in an apparent attempt to elude police has been identified as a 37-year-old Ut “Johnny”Nguyen.

But Nguyen has not been found and is presumed to be dead, according to Campbell police. He has been wanted by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department on a felony warrant for theft.
